Instructions
1. In a deep skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot; approx. 10 minutes. Oil is hot enough when you drop a pinch of flour in the oil and it sizzles right away without smoking.
2. In a large bowl, beat milk and eggs; add the Funnel Cake Mix and beat until smooth and creamy.
3. Place your finger over bottom opening of large mouthed funnel* and scoop ¼ cup of batter into the funnel. Over hot oil in the skillet, remove your finger and move the funnel in a circular motion from the center of the skillet outward to create a round funnel cake. Be careful, the oil will be hot and may splash.
4. Fry funnel cake for 1-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Using tongs, flip cake over and fry 1-2 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from skillet and place on paper towel. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar, and/or powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
